He offers the right balance of challenging you to help you improve, and allowing you to progress at a pace you are comfortable with. His explanations are clear, and he is always calm, taking the stress out of driving (which I imagine is one of the biggest stumbling blocks for learners). In particular, on the day when he said I should think about booking my test, I was in complete agreement, since something clicked into place that day. “Following a number of weekly lessons and an intense series of 2 hour lessons every day for around 2 weeks, I passed my test on the first attempt with one minor fault. I was hoping to get a clean sheet for my instructor Roger, who was an excellent teacher. The style of driving he taught me meant I now feel confident on the road and prepared for most situations that could arise. “I started off taking lessons with ACORN driving school. The instructor no longer wanted to teach me due to making far to many mistakes and knowing my test was around the corner. How unprofessional! I then came across SDF and they we’re so welcoming and my instructor Andy accepted the way I drove and understood my needs. He didn’t come across pressurising. Always listened to what I had to say. “Hola! I am Luis from Caracas-Venezuela. I have been driving since 1995 (left side). I have drove almost every where: highway, jungle, mountains, beach, etc. and also I have drove different types of cars: Vans, 4X4, Sport cars. I moved two years ago to the UK and I thought that I knew how to drive…but I was wrong! I contacted Surrey Driving Force to take couple lesson just to learn some trick for the test.
