I had my lessons with Steve for the past 9 months, my fourth instructor in my 2-year learner journey! Steve is always very encouraging, positive and supportive even when sometimes I had convinced myself I’d never pass a test. Steve came with me for both my tests and I passed second time in Ashford. I always felt extremely safe in the car with him and comfortable learning in environments and areas I had not driven in before. He very kindly was able to pick me up from my house in Sunningdale sometimes for lessons which saved me a lot of time and money getting into Egham. I also had lessons with Leon before Steve who was also lovely, very chatty and very skillful in teaching and driving. Altogether a great experience with Surrey Driving Force and I highly recommend both Steve and Leon for lessons!

What an emotional rollercoaster Steve and I have been through to get me through my test… but we finally did it!!!! It’s been tough learning to drive again at 35. Even though I’m pretty confident behind the wheel, anxiety and frustration has got the better of me on occasions. But Steve has been the most patient, kind and understanding instructor, who truly brings the best out of me and didn’t give up on me after many meltdowns. 5* isn’t enough on here.
