Bad roads and weather give UK an edge in driverless car market.
he British weather and potholed roads will give the country an advantage over Silicon Valley in developing driverless cars, a former Uber executive has claimed.
Fraser Robinson said that while many experts think a challenging climate and UK roads – with their tight corners, roundabouts and often poor state of repair – to be a roadblock to autonomous vehicles companies, they will in fact make the UK’s technology more robust and versatile.
