“I passed my driving test with Rob Andrews with 3 minors on the 15th April 2016.
He was an incredible driving instructor very patience, welcoming and friendly. With my previous experience with driving instructors I wasn’t sure what to expect, my prior driving instructor wasn’t reassuring would get angry or rude if I made an error. Whereas, Rob would either make a joke about it or be understanding. He helped me overcome my fear of driving next to lorry’s and narrow lanes whereas beforehand I’d move away from them.
Rob is a character, we could talk about anything while still teaching me how to drive, still keeping it professional. I never felt uncomfortable and was happy to have a bubbly instructor that didn’t cage my own personality. At the same time he knew when and how to put you in the zone to focus. He has multiple ways of explaining things, so if you don’t understand what he means the first time he will tailor everything to suit your needs. I appreciate all the advice he gave me as it was very informative and best of all he believes in you.
One thing I admired about Rob, is when he knew I was ready to take my test and we had covered everything he told me he didn’t think it was worth me having a lesson this week, or that week he’d tell me just so I wouldn’t be spending money for them to be nothing new to learn. He made sure I had a say in what I wanted to learn in each lessons, and tackle the things I wasn’t so confident in. He instilled confidence in me, when I had the worse days driving and still continued to when I had my incredible days driving.
