What Do I Need To Know?

Today’s driving test can be tough but with the knowledge and skills that you will learn with us, we will be able to guide you through it.Our mock test, undertaken with an instructor unknown to you, plays a critical role in the preparation for your driving test. We feel very strongly that the more authentic your mock test is, the greater impact it will have on your preparation.
After undertaking the mock test, we go over the areas which may need more attention to make certain you are fully prepared on the day.
First, you’ll have to take a Theory Test, to show you know the rules of the road, and a Hazard Perception Test, which shows you can anticipate problems instead of just reacting to them. Your Driving Doctor can support and advise you with both.
Intensive Driving Courses
As well as offering our standard driving lessons, we also offer courses of intensive driving lessons (aka crash driving courses). The results produced by completing an intensive driving course have been known to be spectacular. For example a 1 week of intensive driving is a 5 day course, which can be equivalent to 14 months worth of driving lessons, if you were to have 1 or 2 hours of driving lessons a week!!

Pass Plus
After passing your practical test, we strongly recommend the benefits of completing the Pass Plus course to all of our newly qualified drivers. The Pass plus course has a series of six modules, which are designed to cover areas not covered during standard tuition, and can take up to six hours to complete (six lessons).
