DRIVERS can be fined for driving without due care and attention in the UK for travelling too slowly while on the roads.
By law, motorists are required to stay within the speed limits when travelling on the roads.
Speed limits have been enforced to safeguard pedestrians other motorists and ensure that drivers are being safe on the road.
Speeding is one of the most common offences committed by UK drivers on the road but you can also be fined even if you were travelling well within the legal limit.
Drivers may not be aware that they can be fined for travelling too slowly.
Driving too slowly and cautiously can also be punished and in certain situations be as dangerous as speeding. It could increase the risk of an accident and congestion on motorways in tunnels and on busy streets with fast-moving traffic.
